Music can have a very different feel from one musician, one band and one genre to the next. The package that music comes in should embody the sound and character of the music and musicians themselves. For this project, I was to asked design the CD packaging and create a promotional concert poster.

My goal was to distill the music to its essence and express those simplified qualities in a visceral and eye-catching design. I abstracted ornate letterforms to create the illusion of waves, to express the movements and crescendos of the music.
